While we always have a professional photographer at MoM, we also encourage everyone to take their own photos and share them.

Internet photo services make this easier than ever.

If you’re on Flickr, share your MoM photos in the Mountains of Misery Flickr Group. All others are welcome too. Send us links to your galleries (webmaster@cyclingdoubleheader.com), and we’ll list them here; or feel free to add links in the comments section below (basic HTML is OK).

Later on, we’ll pick some of the best photos, and feature them on this website — with full credit and a link to the photographer.

Here’s what we have so far for 2010:

Don’t forget video — we’d love to have that too!

Birds Eye View has some nice photos of riders which you may purchase. You can see the large thumbnail images at http://www.birdseyeview.net/ Look for Mountains of Misery. Go to the Event Photos tab on the top, the Cycling link, then 20060528 Mountains of Misery link. Note, these photos may disappear after a few months so grab them while you can.

Dan Casey from the Roanoke Times took some photos of the “faces” of the Mountains of Misery. You can find the gallery of 50 of his best images at http://www.roanoke.com/outdoors/biking/wb/wbxp-67844. You may find yourself there too!
