New River Valley Bicycle Association's
Event: Cycling Double Header Dinner featuring Bob Roll
Date: Friday, May 26, 2006
Location: Blacksburg, VA
Place: Inn at VA Tech
Outdoor Life Network commentator, author and former professional
cyclist Bob Roll is
appearing at the Inn at Virginia Tech as guest dinner speaker for
the 2006 Cycling
Double Header on Friday May 26th. The dinner kicks off the
weekend's
events: Saturday's Wilderness Road Ride and Sunday's Mountains
of Misery.
The word "misery" attracted Bob Roll to accept the invitation since
he has
competed in grueling cycling races such as the Tour de France and
the
Paris-Roubaix. Between his pro cycling history and entertaining
commentary,
Bob Roll will capture the interest of cyclists and non-cyclists
alike.
The dinner costs $25 per person and is open to the public and seating
is
limited. For more information, please visit www.cyclingdoubleheader.com or
contact James DeMarco, the event director, at [email protected] or
